We are making a proposal and design of complete technical solution for installation fully automatic electric switch heating system (ESHS). The system is controlled by means of weather conditions sensor and rail temperature sensor. It possible to connect multiple sets of sensors into the switchboard which is useful when the switchboard stay in the middle of each the station and station head should be control separately due of different weather conditions. Power supply of ESHS is possible from the contact overhead line 25kV AC, or 3 kV DC, from a distribution network up to 35 kV or from low-voltage distribution energetic network.
The main part of the ESHS is low voltage switchboard, which is device with a PLC control system, a belaying elements and a protection, a control, a measurement and diagnostics heated circuits. The switchboard is able to remotely monitor and configure our control system DOOS by the operating switchboard RDOOS / ESHS, or according to the customer needs for a connection to the railway network technology. Installing the switchboard is possible into power substations (block substations) into pillar switchboard in a railyard or on the premises of technological buildings and substations.
The heating rods are made of special materials NiCr with average lifetime of 13 years. The heating rod is fixed through one firm and then by elastic clamps, according to the shape of railway superstructure.
We provide the production and the assembly of covers ESHS, thanks to which will cover assembly heating ESHS in order to increase efficiency, in the space between sleepers and rods. These covers also reduce the amount snow in the sleeper area and that improve the function of the switch heating.
